Obituary for Anatoly "Tony B." Boldyrew

Anatoly "Tony B." Boldyrew
Trent Woods, NC

Mr. Anatoly "Tony" Boldyrew, 71, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at his home with his wife by his side. Tony was proud of his Russian heritage, being the son of Katherine and Anatoly Boldyrew, and was a US Army veteran of Viet Nam. He was a longtime resident of New York, NY where he was a member of the NYSE, and the Alliance Motorcycle Club of Long Island, NY. He enjoyed riding his Harley, scuba diving, traveling, fishing and being at the beach. He moved to the New bern area in 2012. Sadly, Tony was preceded in death by his father.

A Mass of Resurrection will be 1:00 PM, Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, with US Army Honors. The family will gather after the Mass with a reception and fellowship. Those wishing to offer words of hope and comfort may visit www.pollockbest.com.

Tony is survived by his faithful and loving wife, Laura McManus Boldyrew, of Trent Woods, NC: his mother-in-law, Elinor McManus; his mother, Katherine Boldyrew, of Glen Cove, NY; his daughter, Laurie Ann Boldyrew, of Glen Cove, NY; and his brothers, George and Alexander Boldyrew. Tony also leaves behind, his best buddy and apple of his eye, his grandson, Jax Henry Giordano; and his four-legged pals, Cody and Iris.
