FAYETTEVILLE, NC

William Jack Seymour, 81, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at home after a hard fought battle with cancer, to be with his Lord and reunited with his wife JoAnn.

Jack carried many titles in life, a few were husband, father, soldier, and friend. After almost 22 years with the US Army Special Forces, two Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, and a Bronze Star, Jack retired and worked with the Cumberland County School System. Jack was a member of the Sail & Power Squadron, a Boy Scout Leader, Little League umpire, and a member of McPherson Presbyterian Church. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

Jack left behind a family that will always be grateful that God allowed them to have such a magnificent father and grandfather; his son John and wife Karen, son Jack and wife Nathalie, daughter Jill and husband Jeff; and his daughter Jennifer and her husband James. Also, his grandchildren, Kyle, and wife Angela; Virginia, Victoria, Matthew, Michael, James; and great grandchildren, David, John, and Alyna.

A memorial service, with US Army Honors, will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at McPherson Presbyterian Church, 3525 Cliffdale Rd. in Fayetteville. Online condolences may be made at www.pollockbest.com.
